Watch Danny Trejo Serve Fried Chicken Tacos to a Man Named Fluffy

The uber-popular comic Gabriel Iglesias stops by Trejo's Tacos

Farley Elliott is the Senior Editor at Eater LA and the author of Los Angeles Street Food: A History From Tamaleros to Taco Trucks. He covers restaurants in every form, from breaking news to the culture, people, and history that surrounds LA's dining landscape.

Here's something to take you over the midweek hump: Danny Trejo cutting heads of lettuce in half with a machete while dining with uber-popular Latino comic Gabriel Iglesias, otherwise known as Fluffy to his fans. The pair (plus a bunch of other traveling stand up comedians) grabbed an outdoor table at Trejo's new aptly-named Trejo's Tacos on La Brea, and dug into just about everything on the menu.

The fried chicken taco chow session above is part of the second season of Iglesias' Fuse show Fluffy Breaks Even, which focuses on the comedian's extensive tour stops, and the food that can be found in each city. For the LA episode, Fluffy and his crew decided to tackle the recently-opened Trejo's to figure out what's up with their tacos (much as Eater did the day they opened) and seem to come off relatively impressed with the place. The full LA episode of the show airs tomorrow on Fuse.
