Looks like Corazon y Miel’s Eddie Ruiz is branching out, staging an upcoming pop-up at Public Beer Wine Shop in Long Beach.
The popular bottle shop and taproom along 4th Street will undergo a Corazon y Miel food takeover of sorts, with Ruiz running a collection of small menu items from the kitchen this weekend. The full menu is below, but expect snackier items like a street corn salad with jalapeños and bacon, octopus ceviche, and a $13 queso fundido served with chorizo.
The run will kick off tomorrow and last through Saturday, with hours from 6 p.m. until around 10:30 p.m. Ruiz, who is also an avowed craft beer fan, will be on hand serving up the food alongside a variety of drinks. Moving forward, Ruiz plans to likely do more food pop-ups inside the space, toying and possibly expanding the menu along the way. No reservations needed for this one, all you’ve got to do is show up.
