Jax Bar & Grill in Glendale has closed

ZenBunni's Biodynamic Chocolate lands new Santa Monica outpost
Surprise, surprise: ZenBunni, the odd little chocolate shop on Abbot Kinney that sells their creations from what is presumably an old tree trunk, is expanding. Launching Long Beach restaurant week
Dine LBC is nearly here, doing special meals across 70 area restaurants at price points that range from $20 to $50. Popular names like Open Sesame, Simmzy's, Michael's Pizzeria, and Chianina are all participating, with the party running April 23 to May 1.
Ohana Poke Co. debuts the poke-burrito mashup the world needed
Is it a sushi burrito? Sorta but not quite. Instead, chef Eric Park has decided to launch the pokerito at his Silver Lake outpost of Ohana Poke Co. Not that poke bowls were any less grab-and-go, but there is something awfully tempting about marinated fish and sushi-grade rice wrapped in a cilantro jalapeño tortilla.
