Silver Lake slice joint Garage Pizza seems to have rather unceremoniously shuttered their Downtown outlet, though the company’s website still lists the location. Both Yelp and Google say otherwise, though, with both identifying the place as closed up tight as of a couple of weeks ago.
Meanwhile, there’s been an exceptionally quick flip of the place, as newcomer Bazaar Pizza is now all moved in. The room itself is essentially a carbon copy of the former Garage Pizza, and there’s a good chance they’ve even kept the ovens and just bought the restaurant outright. Even the straightforward pizzas share a certain similarity, with both places also doing wings, calzones, and salads.
Bazaar is currently open along 7th Street near Main, keeping daily hours from 11 a.m. to at least 11 p.m. On Friday and Saturday nights, those extend to 3 a.m., and there’s a daily happy hour from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. that includes a 10-inch pizza and a beer for $11.
