In a surprise to no one at all, another healthy restaurant is opening in Santa Monica. This time it's Flower Child, a new fast-casual restaurant hitting 2nd and Santa Monica Boulevard that will open some time in June.
The work of True Food Kitchen's Sam Fox, Flower Child boasts naturally raised proteins and local produce in farmer's market-inspired digs. The 5,000 square foot space will offer plenty of salads, bowls, plates, and wraps with such proteins as grass-fed steak, sustainable salmon, and organic tofu. An ABC sign spotted at the end of last year intimates that beer and wine will be available to wash it all down.
Flower Child Santa Monica will be the chain's first California branch. The concept has three locations in Arizona, with its first Texas location headed to Austin soon.
