McConnell's Brings Quality Ice Cream to Los Feliz Next

Looks like another outlet for McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams is coming, with sources saying that the next location will be right in the thick of things in Los Feliz. Though construction is still underway, you should expect to be eating ice cream by sometime in late summer, hopefully.

The location sits right next to the inbound Go Get Em Tiger on Hollywood Boulevard, steps from the likes of Bar Covell, HomeState, and the incoming Kismet from the Madcapra team. The long-gestating Go Get Em Tiger has always been a massive space, and sources hinted early on that the place would be split in two in order to make room for a second, separate concept.

It makes sense that said operator would end up being McConnell’s, given the long history the two have had since even before the Santa Barbara-based company first landed in LA. The G&B team even helped to shore up the coffee program at the McConnell’s flagship shop up in Santa Barbara a while back. McConnell's already has Los Angeles locations in Grand Central Market and Studio City.

Keep in mind that both Go Get Em Tiger and McConnell’s are going to take some time to come to life, still. Both anticipate a late summer opening, but there are no firm dates in mind just yet. Can't wait? There are plenty of other coffee and ice cream options in the neighborhood, that's for sure.
