As of early April, Luna Grill has opened its first location in the Los Angeles area. Touting a blended vintage and modern feel, and with inspiration from Scandinavia, the La Cañada Flintridge restaurant offers breath of fresh air for the mostly sleepy bedroom community. The interior layout and design include bold patterns, modern pendant lamps with vintage light bulbs, and edge wood tables that give off the feel of a tree trunk.
The bill of fare will be a range of kabobs, wraps, salads, and appetizers such as hummus and falafel, alongside a collection of beer and wine. In all, it's rather typical healthy Mediterranean food that'll please a crowd, but as evidenced by newcomers like Cava Grill in Westwood, there's certainly nothing wrong with that.
The La Cañada location marks Luna Grill’s 22nd restaurant, which was founded in San Diego, California. The company is also close to opening two additional locations in San Diego, and has larger plans within the Los Angeles area to open a handful of outlets from Santa Monica to Downtown.
