These days eateries are doing whatever they can to capture the zeitgeist. And no place has done a better job of checking all the boxes than food truck concept Bobarrito, which serves (you guessed it) boba, poke, and burritos. Now they're opening a brick & mortar right in the heart of Third Street Promenade in Santa Monica, in what might be LA's ground zero for tourists (along with Hollywood Boulevard, of course).

The upcoming eatery takes over the former George's Bistro between Arizona and Santa Monica, and is currently hiring up with plans to open sometime this summer. If the concept already sounds vaguely familiar, that's because there's an existing Bobarrito truck out roaming the LA streets, as well as in Orange County.

The holy trinity of boba, poke, and poke burritos is sure to strike a chord in the heavily trafficked area, though one wonders if the Bobarrito team didn't make a mistake by not adding on some donuts and rainbow bagels while they were at it. Roving Westside reporter Toddrickallen also points out a secret menu on the soon-to-open store.
