This New York City Vegan Restaurant Opens Inside 365 by Whole Foods Next Week

By Chloe lands in the appropriate location of Silver Lake

As if Silver Lake somehow lacked for juices and vegan food, here comes By Chloe. Tucked into the far end of the busy new 365 by Whole Foods, the fast casual corner spot arrives on Tuesday with its own entrance and slate of meat-free comfort food.

By Chloe in Silver Lake is an offshoot of the New York City vegan restaurant in the West Village, co-owned and operated by namesake chef Chloe Coscarelli along with Samantha Wasser. The idea is to craft healthy, fast meatless eats like tempeh burgers and sweet potato mac n' cheese, alongside $10 salads and weekend brunch options like pancakes and tofu scrambles. The full menu board is below.

All told, the restaurant covers a slight 1,200 square feet, with room for counter and table seating. There are grab and go options inside a cooler along one wall, and retail purchases like hats and cookbooks available on another.

As of Tuesday, expect By Chloe to keep daily hours starting at 11 a.m. during the week, and 10 a.m. on weekends. The restaurant closes by 10 p.m. Sunday through Tuesday, and 11 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.
