Singer Mayer Hawthorne Is Delivering Meals for UberEats Tonight

Play your cards right tonight, and Mayer Hawthorne himself might end up delivering your next UberEats order. The singer/songwriter has a penchant for teaming up with local brands he believes in, and his latest endeavor pairs him with the always ridiculous Nguyen Tran of Starry Kitchen. The duo will apparently be doing the usual Starry Kitchen Tuesday night menu for UberEats, but will be actually showing up at peoples’ houses who order, dropping the food off and giving away CDs.

Tran says the partnership came from Hawthorne himself, as he’s a big fan of the food at Starry Kitchen (and now Button Mash). Never one to turn down an opportunity to goof off and wear his banana suit, Tran agreed to hop in with Hawthorne to send out some meals in the West LA / Culver City area tonight only, and will even be dishing out tickets to a show in Santa Ana tomorrow night.
