There are never enough options when it comes to dining in Century City. The Intercontinental Los Angeles is hoping to satiate hungry travelers and local office workers with its newest restaurant and bar: Mari and Copper Lounge. Here's six things to know about them:
This time, it's personal
Named after the hotel's owner, Mari reflects the hotelier's Japanese heritage and global travels with influences that span from Italy, Peru, Indonesia, and India.
It's an all-day affair
Like most signature hotel restaurants, Mari will offer three square meals a day. There will be Chinese and Japanese-leaning breakfast options, bento boxes at lunch, and Mari's favorite entrees at dinner.
The design is California chic
Taking advantage of the hotel's outdoor garden sanctuary, the restaurant will offer both indoor and outdoor seating with a contemporary white interior, LED lighting, and murals by Nichole Blackburn.
After dinner drinks at Copper Lounge
Just steps away from Mari is Copper Lounge, the hotel's new bar inspired by the copper stills used to distill whiskies. With an international whisky program, floor to ceiling glass walls, and comfortable seating, it should be a solid option for an evening digestif.
Cigar lovers, rejoice!
That's right, Copper Lounge will offer a curated cigar menu for those relaxing in the courtyard garden.
You won't have to wait long
Both concepts are currently in their soft opening phase, but the renovation will fully conclude July 8.
