Inside Huckleberry in Santa Monica, Saturday 10 a.m.

One of LA's new classic bakeries hustles and bustles on a weekend morning

There might not be a busier place on a Saturday morning in Santa Monica than Huckleberry, Zoe Nathan and Josh Loeb's enduring breakfast spot. While the place is open seven days a week to steady traffic, the bakery, which seems almost possessed with the sweet, addictive aromas of fresh pastries, goes to "11" by the weekend. Take a look around, order up the famous fried egg sandwich, and finish with a platter of sweet baked goods.
