Breakfast-Themed Late Night Spot Nighthawk Sets Sail for Venice

The concept originally headed to Melrose will now open on the westside

Jeremy Fall's Nighthawk seems to be making a point of bouncing its way across the entirety of Los Angeles. The breakfast-themed lounge first opened in Hollywood just outside of Sadie earlier this year. Then, after announcing a second daytime outlet called Nighthawk: AM, which was slated to open on Melrose, the original Nighthawk shuttered along with Sadie.

After all that, it seems Nighthawk is forgoing the Melrose location altogether these days, instead opening up in Venice right next to Charcoal in the former Le Cellier. Nighthawk: Breakfast Bar Venice will be Fall's first Westside venue, and a relatively expansive on at that. The 70-seat restaurant will offer an extended food and beverage menu from the original Hollywood location, along with hours that will stretch from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. Monday to Thursdays, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday, Saturday, and Sundays.

Although the Melrose location is fully out of the picture, the nightlife impresario still has his sights set of the Eastside, with a location announcement that should come in the next few weeks. In the meantime, Nighthawk Venice will open on August 4, and reservations can be made at reservations@nighthawkbb.com.
