Lyfe Kitchen Culver City Goes Down For The Count

Is this the beginning of the end?

Lyfe Kitchen Culver City

Healthy-eating chain Lyfe Kitchen is having a rough go of things. It was only a few months ago that both the Tarzana and West Hollywood locations of the eatery closed their doors for good, and now a tipster writes in with news that the downtown Culver City branch has also shuttered.

With deliciously meaty options like The Cannibal and Hanjip opening in the past few years just down the street and drawing big lines, it seems that Lyfe's quinoa and kale-centric menu had a hard time competing. The Culver City location has been removed from the chain's website, and the phone number has been disconnected.

Fans of the clean-living eatery will have to do with the Playa Vista location, the only remaining branch in LA county. The brand isn't quite yet at the end of its run, though; multiple locations in the Bay Area and beyond are more than keeping things afloat.
