With a plethora of tourists and office workers, there can never be enough reliable lunchtime options in Hollywood. That's why Sylvia Donahue, a veteran of the food manufacturing industry, decided to open her first eatery, The Chocolate Bar, in the heart of it all on Vine right off Hollywood Boulevard.

Located in the historic Hollywood Plaza building just around the corner from the newly minted The Pie Hole, the bakery and cafe has something for just about every hour of the day.

Offering everything from made-to-order sandwiches and salads to housemade pastries to gelato, The Chocolate Bar should be a nice spot for morning viennoisserie and afternoon pick-me-ups that can be washed down with their house blend coffee. And best of all, the prices are a bit lower than the more swanky pastry shops around town. Of course, since this is LA, they'll also offer some fresh juices as a healthier alternative.

The Chocolate Bar officially debuts July 19 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m., with full opening hours running Monday through Saturday from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. thereafter.
