Looks like another shift could be coming to the nightlife sector in Hollywood, as club Couture on Cahuenga returns to the trading block once again for a cool asking price of $900,000.
The sale of the long-running space would include an existing Type 47 ABC license for on-site alcohol sales, plus some 6,200 square feet of usable space, including a basement and a couple of additional patios that themselves total around 3,000 square feet. Apparently new ownership would be taking over an existing lease with an expiration date of 2023, and the hopes of working into a new lease with the landlord if things line up. Interested parties can get more information here.
It’s certainly not the first time that Couture has hit the market, along with a handful of other oft-flipping nightlife properties around the city. What’s intriguing here is that the price has been significantly reduced from the over-$1 million initial ask in 2014 to its current asking price of $900,000. Maybe with that reduction, Hollywood will get some new nightlife blood in after all. Otherwise, everyone will just have to keep waiting for Beso to reopen.
