Besides Culver City's Hanjip and Genwa in Beverly Hills, Korean barbecue is still trying to break out of its comfort zone of Koreatown. That is with the exception of the rapidly expanding all-you-can-eat chain Gen, with locations in Torrance, Rancho Cucamonga, Huntington Beach, and beyond. Well now, the brand is making Korean barbecue even more accessible with its freshly minted delivery service, Gen Delivers.
Claiming to be the first ever Korean barbecue delivery operation, Gen Delivers allows customers to order from a selection of raw pork, beef, chicken, and side dishes all priced by the pound. Looking for a little bit of everything? The sampler platter includes seven of the most popular meats alongside five banchan, rice paper, radish paper, rice, and salad for $45. Considering the sampler is advertised as feeding two to four people, it's a reasonably priced way to satisfy carnivorous cravings right in the comfort of your own home.
The website even sells a custom Korean barbecue grill ideal for home cooking. Known for pretty tremendous lines at peak dinner hours, Gen is eliminating nearly every obstacle between you and your grilled meat dreams.
