The Glendon Bar & Kitchen Goes Dark in Westwood

A sad day for thirsty UCLA students

Toddrickallen

Westwood's The Glendon Bar & Kitchen has shuttered, reports Toddrickallen. The alternative to Palomino and Napa Valley Grille, the restaurant and bar was a mainstay for the local office worker crowd and UCLA students in need of late night libations and American fare in high ceilinged digs.

The Glendon opened six and a half years ago, and became known for its happy hours, cougar fries, and sliders. Sadly, the last night of service took place on Friday, August 12. An email list sign up does hint at a new restaurant by the Glendon team, so hopefully those mourning the loss of the Westwood institution will find a replacement soon enough.
