More news for Machete fans, as it seems the always-busy Danny Trejo has plans to take his Trejo’s Tacos concept out to the streets. Per a press release sent around not long ago, the official unveiling of the matte black taco machine in a couple of weeks.

It’s a strong new move for the Trejo’s team, as the company continues with further expansion efforts into other neighborhoods beyond their Mid-City home base. Trejo’s has plans to head into Hollywood very soon, followed by a backup location near Sqirl in Virgil Village.

As for the truck, look for a pared-down menu to go along with the mobile eatery, as the truck consolidates the brick and mortar location’s ample offerings for easier consumption on the go. They’ll also be offering horchata and agua frescas and the like at street stops across the city.

No word yet on where exactly the truck will be focusing its efforts geographically, but expect to be able to enjoy some of Trejo’s creations on the go by early September or so, if not before.
