The Italian icon should be back in a few weeks

One of Brentwood’s true dining icons, Vincenti Ristorante, is down for a quick nip and tuck. The two decade old destination is closed up at the moment, but has plans to return by the end of the month.

By all accounts, it’s a much-needed refresh for the Italian eatery. The plan, says the Vincenti team, is to mostly rehab what’s already there rather than drastically redefine the dining room; expect touch-ups and detail work, with a few nods towards the way current diners like to eat.

As for the menu, chef Nicola Mastronardi says it’s steady as she goes with the classic pasta, pizza, and big meat mains. Soon enough Vincenti will have some competition with the inbound Pizzana taking over the old Adoteca space, but for now there’s nothing much stopping their old money Italian cuisine dominance in Brentwood, so why change? Expect Vincenti to come back online by September 23.
