Here’s the line for Shake Shack’s big new opening, happening right now in Glendale. The beloved East Coast burger chain only unlocked the doors on their second-ever Los Angeles area location at 11 a.m., but well before then a line of eager eaters had started wrapping the block.

By opening time, the reported number of folks on site had reached to nearly 100. Shake Shack employees were even working their way down the line, keeping the crowds pumped up and handing out white branded sunglasses to as many people as possible.

It’s going to be a race for the next opening somewhere in greater Los Angeles, whether it’s in Hollywood, Century City, or Downtown. Rumor has it Hollywood — right near the Pantages Theatre — might be next, but so far nothing’s been confirmed.

Now that the Glendale location is up and running proper, expect daily operating hours from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Take a look at the shiny new space right this way.
