Hollywood Mainstay Magnolia Shutters Tonight After 11 Years

Cheap rose for one more day

Sunset Boulevard stop Magnolia is turning out the lights tonight after a decade-plus run among the stars of Hollywood. The restaurant quietly announced their plans to move on just yesterday.

To send off the old space in style, ownership is doing a clearing-house deal tonight that will see $3 pours of rose all day long. Should you feel like paying your last respects, you can do so with a glass in your hand.

Come Saturday, Magnolia will be no more, leaving the next-door Bowery as probably the best place to eat on the block (though the Tender Greens nearby is always busy). Guests wanting to recreate any of their favorite memories from Magnolia can head over to owner Ron Marino’s Caulfield’s Bar and Dining Room in Beverly Hills, where ownership says they’ll be bringing along some of the most popular Magnolia dishes.
