Don’t look now, but amidst all this rain there’s a bit of sunshine to come this weekend: Shake Shack, the East Coast burger chain aiming for total Los Angeles domination, will open their Century City outlet come Sunday.

The surprise Friday news means Westsiders sick of the lines at the West Hollywood original outlet will now have their very own mall-worthy location to enjoy. Just like the others, this Santa Monica Boulevard address will offer counter service, wooden tables and chairs, and that neon green design aesthetic, but with the addition of a couple of living greenwalls from Articulture Designs. Add in some big new patio space, and suddenly the Westfield Century City’s dining options don’t look quite so bleak.

Indeed, it has mostly been a ghost town at the massive mall recently. With Eataly still under construction and rent reportedly through the roof, most places have caved in at Westfield Century City already. That should leave plenty of opportunity for Shake Shack to capitalize, thanks to their menu of inexpensive burgers, shakes, and sides. Their new Century City location officially opens Sunday.
