The Peppermint Club Pops Into West Hollywood With Big Music and Soft Lighting

The h.wood Group concept is part bar, part music venue

The under-construction Peppermint Club

It’s almost go time for The Peppermint Club, the latest iteration of the former Hooray Henry’s space on Beverly Boulevard. As always the h.wood Group is behind this turn, and they’ve partnered up with Interscope Records to give the place even more cache.

The Peppermint Club should be up and running as of Wednesday, January 11, bringing big sound and a booming party scene to that stretch of the city. If anything, the nightlife destination should act as a more intimate alternative to sky-high options nearby like the celebrity-stuffed Catch rooftop. John Sofio of Built, Inc. is behind the dark, inviting room, along with John Terzian.

While you won’t find interior photos of the space just yet, the above schematic should give you an idea of what to expect. This is a show-driven venue with a large stage, plus some intimate booths and open lounge seating to go along with the wraparound bar.

As for food and drink expect cocktails in the $15 range, using everything from Absolut to Plymouth Gin to Jack Daniels single barrel. Adam Koral is behind the booze side of things, and will be overseeing the bar snack menu of panini sandwiches and other small bites.

Expect The Peppermint Club to open Wednesday, January 11, and be packed with celebs by Thursday night.
