Koreatown Newcomer Horse’s Mouth Has Change of Heart Just Six Months In

They’re plotting for a comeback in a different part of town

Horse’s Mouth, Koreatown
Horse’s Mouth

Looks like a change of venue for Horse’s Mouth, the Koreatown newcomer that took the place of the shuttered Iota Brew on Western. The relatively recent addition only came online in August, but seems to now be changing its mind about the location.

Per a rep for the restaurant, Horse’s Mouth will be relocating to an undisclosed part of town sometime down the line. They won’t divulge just where that will end up being (or when), but did pass along the following statement:

Horse’s Mouth will be relocating to a new space. We have decided to move into a space that matches our cuisine and is more well suited to our ethos. We appreciate the support from all of our diners, including our local neighbors, and look forward to continuing to offer a very personal experience for all of our guests. We are excited to share our new location and see you for dinner very soon.

The move puts a damper on the latest round of popular Koreatown openings, though places like Here’s Looking at You remain as buzzy as ever. Nearby Terra Cotta is doing good business alongside the Wiltern as well, and hopefully something soon will take over the now-available address on Western. Until then, everyone will have to wait and see where Horse’s Mouth ends up.
