This Trippy New LAX-Adjacent Hotel Boasts a Robotic Butler

With all-day fare coming from the upcoming Waypoint Kitchen

H Hotel

LAX-area hotels aren’t always known for being the most luxurious places to stay (or dine). Looking to change that is the first H Hotel Los Angeles, Curio Collection by Hilton. Opening October 10, the 168-room traveler’s retreat features a new restaurant called Waypoint Kitchen. The all-day eatery hawks a crowd-pleasing menu of New American favorites. That means the requisite brussels sprouts are topped with barbecue sauce, bacon, and white cheddar while flatbread comes loaded with garlic mascarpone and roasted mushrooms.

However, the real amenity is HANNAH, the hotel’s robotic butler that reps describe as “a distant cousin of The Jetson's Rosie the Robot Maid.” Everything from snacks to extra towels can be driven around the hotel’s halls and up and down the elevators to satisfy guests’ needs.

Waypoint Kitchen will serve daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
