The Pie Hole is opening three new Southern California locations this month. Eater spoke with co-owner Lindsay Hollister-Heffner, who confirmed the company’s November plans. The Venice, Long Beach, and San Bernardino openings have been in the pipeline for many months, but are contingent on city inspections, staffing, and bit of pie prayer.
The Pie Hole’s expansion efforts began in 2015, after partnering with the Newport Beach franchising firm, Fransmart, and hasn’t stopped since. The pie makers originally arrived in the Arts District in 2011, and opened locations in Pasadena, Hollywood, Orange, and Glendale in a short span. They also have franchises in Durham, NC and two shops in Tokyo.
That brings the total of Southern California Pie Holes to eight, which might prove helpful when tracking down a Thanksgiving pot pie, Mexican chocolate pie, or salted caramel pecan pie.
When open, the stores will be located at these addresses:
Belmont Shore in Long Beach, 5277 E. 2nd St., Long Beach, CA
Venice Beach at Lincoln and Rose, 324 Lincoln Blvd., Venice, CA
Rancho Cucamonga at the Victoria Gardens Mall, 12466 North Mainstreet, Rancho Cucamonga
