Blue Bottle Coffee’s quest for citywide coffee domination continues, with a new location opening this Friday along Fairfax Avenue. Blue Bottle typically gives coffee away during a new store opening, and like every opening, the complimentary coffee is for a cause. All merchandise and baked goods sold on Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m went to benefit the Los Angeles LGBT Center.
After the company’s LA debut on Mateo Street in 2014, Blue Bottle fiercely expanded across the city, with eleven locations to date. Blue Bottle is developing another location next to Cedars Sinai on Robertson, but the opening date is to be determined.
The Fairfax store was designed by the architecture firm wrk-shp, with inspiration from industrial designer, German-born Dieter Rams, along with a nod to 1970s audio equipment.
