Southern-loving Angelenos have previously had to travel out of state for their taste of Cracker Barrel, but soon that expense will be no more. As of February 5, Victorville will be the site of the company’s first Golden State location, with more to come in the Central Valley and further north down the line.

Reps for Cracker Barrel confirmed the opening date with Eater this morning. That puts the timeline at just about six weeks out for the new location, with lots of eyeballs on the construction until then. This new restaurant sits just off the freeway on the busy road to Las Vegas, and sees a reported 100,000 cars pass by every day.

Like other Cracker Barrel locations nationwide, expect this new Victorville outlet to be similarly filled with all manner of Americana. Interestingly enough, the company actually keeps a warehouse filled with authentic antique decor items for each of its hundreds of stores, and has been saving up bits of ephemera to put on the California restaurant’s walls for years. Expect a heavy lean on California’s mining past and agricultural roots, like the below fruit labels from places like San Marcos. The 10,000 square foot Victorville Cracker Barrel will open officially on February 5.
