Step inside Downtown’s newest craft beer taproom, this one from the Boomtown Brewery folks. Though they’ve been working the bare-bones warehouse vibes for some time now in the northern stretch of the Arts District, the real reveal comes this Saturday with a grand opening party of their finally-perfected space.

Inside the tall, dim building you’ll find a long wooden bar and ample communal seating for all to enjoy. There are rows of tables for drinking with pals, plus some lounge-ier leather seating in the far back corner. Add in some shuffleboard, a pool table, and room for darts, and you’ve got the kind of all-evening hang that part of the city has been looking for.

While the official opening party for the new taproom space is Saturday, Boomtown has been doing a few under-the-radar friends and family nights so far. In fact, the Chori-Man himself will be cooking up tonight alongside a DJ set and heavy pours from folks behind the bar. Saturday’s shindig will include meat from the Maple Block team, the Tumaca truck, collaboration beers, and tons more.
