Kyoto’s popular Tentenyu Ramen has quietly opened today in the heart of Culver City, weeks after hanging a colorful banner to announce their impending arrival.

The casual noodle newcomer is being brought to the downtown stretch thanks to Nathan Asamoto, who has a background from Men Oh Ramen and Ramen Champ, among others. He actually spearheaded the arrival of LA’s first Tentenyu Ramen location over in Sawtelle Japantown.

For these first few weeks, expect some seriously soft open hours as the crew gets up and running in Culver City. That not only means a truncated menu, but hours that could fluctuate as the month goes on. Look for a larger grand opening party around March 31.
