Looks like food celebrity Alton Brown had a heck of a time dining out around Los Angeles lately. Brown was in town for a live version of his food and science road show, but took the opportunity to dive into a number of local spot.

Among them: Coffee Commissary and Otus Thai Kitchen, a great but unassuming stop along La Brea near Fountain. Brown also managed to get some margaritas down at Petty Cash Taqueria, but has now made his way north to San Francisco for the next leg of his trip.

In-N-Out’s free burger scheme
