You can run (a successful bar), but you cannot hide from the Artisanal Brewers Collective. Their latest takeover brings the Tony Yanow partnership group back to The Valley, where they are plotting to take over The Eclectic in North Hollywood.

Eater confirmed with the ABC team over the weekend about the flip, which will transform The Eclectic into a “yet to be named American-style bistro featuring comfort food and drinks”. If that sounds roughly familiar, just know that it’s basically the same boilerplate information the group has been providing for all of their recent acquisitions, from Downtown to Westwood.

Most recently, Yanow and the ABC team have owned up to taking over Brennan’s Pub in Marina del Rey. That long-running Irish bar will remain the same (albeit with some updated touches) for now, whereas The Eclectic is going under the knife to reemerge with a new name and menu. As with the other projects, group culinary lead Trevor Faris is going to be working on the menu, which one has to assume will include some vegan options.

No timeline for opening as of now, but expect it to take a while given how much other stuff the impossibly wealthy group has already in the works.
