Just what the hell happened between So You Think You Can Dance host Cat Deeley and Downtown LA restaurant TomGeorge? Apparently a lot.

Gossip magazines are aflutter with Deeley’s recent dining troubles at the Italian-by-way-of-Budapest restaurant, following a Twitter rant she went on starting Sunday. At first it was unclear exactly what took place over her afternoon meal, as Deeley stuck to her guns insulting the restaurant without details:

So what could prompt such a nasty public display of anger? Stepping into Deeley’s timeline reveals a little bit more, with the host tweeting to a follower “Our order arrived at the table incorrectly FIVE times! The one of my guests dishes was inedible. There was zero service.”

Deeley and her crew were apparently so appalled at everything that went down, they made the dubious distinction to stiff the waiter even after a majority of their bill had been comped by the restaurant. In fact, it was the waiter who served them that outed the tipless table directly.

That’s a tough look for anyone, especially a celebrity, but Deeley isn’t backing down and neither is the restaurant. People Magazine caught a statement from the TomGeorge team that read, in part: “She didn’t like the food so we comped all of the food items, then she tweeted a lot of inappropriate tweet[s] although we tried to ease her ‘pain.’” Yikes.
