Hollywood Gains a Prime New Rooftop Cocktail Player Just in Time for Summer

Hollywood’s journey towards dining supremacy continues unabated today with news of a duo of concepts coming to the Hollywood Proper Residences along El Centro Avenue. The pair of eat and drink spots go by the name Filifera and Post Café respectively.

First up is Filifera, a prime new rooftop bar set to pull in a local crowd and take away from sea of drinkers currently heading for Catch and EP & LP in West Hollywood. The full wraparound space comes with spectacular views from the 23rd floor, and will a bevy of cocktails from the ambitious Last Word Hospitality (Same Same, Brack Shop Tavern) team. Much like the Ace Hotel, there will also be a pool, plus private cabanas and a slate of summertime programming like shows and movie screenings.

The second sunny option is Post Café, which will offer an all-day experience from weekday breakfast to cozy evening dinners and Sunday brunch. That space will stick to the ground floor but offer its own patio for similar outdoor dining.

Both Filifera and Post Café are expected to come online as part of the larger Hollywood Proper project next month, operating by reservation only at first. no word on official timing, but expect an opening just weeks away.
