Burger mashups are all the rage these days, but the latest may very well put you under arrest (of the cardiac kind). That’s thanks to the new Code 7 Burger, named in homage to the code cops use for a coffee and donut run.
Austin burger chain Hopdoddy has partnered up with LA’s most iconic doughnut shop, Randy’s Donuts, to create the heart-stopping collaboration of an Angus beef patty, cheddar, applewood smoked bacon, and a fried egg sandwiched between two glazed doughnuts. It’s a fitting dish for the legendary shop characterized by its over-the-top giant doughnut sign that’s nothing less than a 405 landmark.
The Code 7 Burger will be offered at Hopdoddy’s El Segundo and Playa Vista locations from Friday, April 7 to Sunday, April 9, and is priced at $11.
