Two of Watts’s most famous names are teaming up for a one-day pop-up today, with Keith Garrett of All Flavor No Grease cooking up on property at LocoL.

The two teams have long orbited each other in South LA, with Garrett growing a massive following through social media while LocoL finds themselves in front of a national conversation about food and culture. Now the pair is planning the one-day pop-up for no other reason than the fact it seems fun to do.

Garrett will be doing much the same menu as always: ground beef, chicken, and possibly shrimp quesadillas, and he might even be throwing down burritos and tacos if the mood feels right. As for LocoL expect the usual menu of burgers, bowls, and the like, with no word on any possible menu mashups (but you never know).

Ever since getting his main street food operation shut down, folks have been following Garrett closely to see where he’ll pop up next. So far he’s been hitting the circuit of outdoor events in greater South LA, but the addition of this LocoL pop-up hints that bigger things could be coming for the Watts native, including his long-awaited plans for a food truck. The All Flavor No Grease pop-up starts at 12:30 today, and goes until Garrett runs out of food — so you might want to line up soon.
