Guests will soon be able to enjoy sky-high views and some fantastic cooking from the rooftop of Culver City’s Platform project soon. The team behind West Hollywood hit restaurant Norah is expanding into some prime skyline real estate there, dropping a new Mediterranean restaurant towards the end of 2017.
The unnamed project will feature a number of familiar faces, including of course restaurateur Rohan Talwar and chef Mike Williams. It’ll be Williams leading the charge on the new menu, which plays to coastal Spain and central Italy. In fact, Talwar says the place will probably focus more on Spanish cuisine than noodles and pizza (given their heavy proliferation around town already), but the details and finer points are still being worked out.

So too is the space at Platform. The upstairs area has been in use as an event venue for a while now, but with that all winding down construction is set to start next month. That puts the project on pace for an opening at the end of the year ideally, with more news on the restaurant and its menu as it comes.
