Look out coffee hounds, there’s a new shop coming this weekend. It’s a Blue Bottle Coffee, actually, so not that new unless you’re a first-timer to this whole specialty coffee movement. The Bay Area native has shop locations in LA, San Francisco, New York City, and Tokyo, and you can find them on store shelves all over the place. Now, as of Saturday, you can add lovely little Los Feliz to the list.

The latest Blue Bottle location caps what has been a frenetic year for the company, opening up shops across the city at an amazing clip. There’s the Beverly Hills outlet, that gorgeous new Downtown build, plus all the others in the Arts District, Culver City, Venice, Echo Park, and on Beverly Boulevard. This latest is the design implementation of wrk-shp, and it’s predictably beautiful as a result.

This one tucks onto Hillhurst Avenue just steps from another coffee shop called Twenty40, and not far at all from Maru Coffee or even Go Get Em Tiger on Hollywood Boulevard. Heck, there’s even a new Starbucks planning to land inside the former Tangier space just up the street.

Still, it’s a fair bet this shop will stay busy thanks to Blue Bottle’s near-ubiquitous presence in the Los Angeles coffee market already. They also happen to make extremely gorgeous coffee shops, fitted with sunny window spaces and loads of blond wood, so expect a busy friends and family opening on Saturday, followed by a grand reveal on Sunday. That Saturday event will also include a coffee giveaway and a partnership with local animal adoption center Sante D’or. After that, it’s business as usual for Blue Bottle Coffee in Los Feliz, keeping daily early AM hours through mid-evening every night.
