It’s morphin’ time! Well at least that’s true for local chain Alfred Coffee, which is doing a colorful new collaboration with the Power Rangers team since, you know, the new movie is out and all.

Strap on your nostalgia goggles and make for any Alfred in the city, where you’ll find one-off Power Rangers coffee sleeves and some bright new murals on their buildings. Of course, this being a place for drinks, you can also step into one of five colored Ranger enjoyment options, from a turmeric-laced Yellow Ranger chai latte to a bright pink ice coconut beetroot Pink Ranger sipper.

This Power Rangers collaboration is just the latest marketing tool to bring back brand names from days gone by. Just in the past year or so, the NHL crafted a functional Stan Mikita’s Donuts (of Wayne’s World fame) out of thin air, and more recently a Breaking Bad-style Los Pollos Hermanos pop-up took the city by storm. Even coffee has had its day before, with the rise of a one-off Luke’s Diner from Gilmore Girls drawing massive lines in Los Angeles and beyond.

You’ve got time for this Power Rangers party though, as the collab runs through the end of the month. And word is, if you get to the Studio City or Melrose Place locations of Alfred Coffee on Sunday, there’s a good chance of some Rangers actually working behind the bar.
