Bask in the Sunset at Hollywood’s Newest Rooftop Lounge

The indoor-outdoor Filifera brings cocktails to the cloud line

You know summer is officially here when the Los Angeles skyline becomes littered with rooftop bars, all packed with twenty-somethings watching the sun go down while sipping away from a full cocktail bar. At least that’s the specific plan for Filifera, an open-sky newcomer to the Hollywood circuit, with plans to launch tomorrow night.

The expansive new scene hits at the 23rd floor of the Hollywood Proper Residences on El Centro Avenue, and comes complete with a pool, lounge chairs, and loads of greenery. Much like The Roof on Wilshire, The Standard in Downtown, or the Ace Hotel, the plan is to have this multifunctional rooftop act as a chill-out spot for residents and guests, as well as a hang for folks in the ‘hood who want a drink and a small bite. The full opening menu of drinks and snacks is below.

Hours for the Kelly Wearstler-designed space run Sunday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., with hours Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight. Reservations are required, and you can make them on Resy.
