Los Angeles is already ground zero for car lovers in America, and what better place to start or end a road trip than the City of Angels? Eater LA is pleased to announce the commencement of its first-ever Road Trip Week, a celebration of culinary finds, roadside stands, and everything in between.

Starting right this second and continuing until Friday afternoon, Eater LA will feature the best dining destinations within a road trip of the city; compile the finest places to eat at when driving from LA to another noteworthy destination like San Diego, Palm Springs, or Las Vegas; and even highlight unique places to eat within a medium-length drive from the city. For anyone that loves to travel in and around California, this week will be chock full of everything one needs to combat roadside hunger.

But, if there’s one real takeaway, the greatest thing about taking a road trip from Los Angeles is the ubiquity of In-N-Out. When it doubt, just follow the crossed palm trees and massive pylon signs for the best road trip burger in America.

If readers have any helpful tips and special out-of-the-way dining spots, don’t hesitate to hit the tipline or shoot us a reply on Twitter at @eaterla.

Now, let’s hit the road.
