A New All-Delivery Chinese Restaurant Brings Baos and Potstickers to LA

The Chicago-based Wow Bao brings delivery buns to most of the city

There’s a new all-delivery restaurant coming to LA, and it’s called Wow Bao. This Chicago-based restaurant wants bring quality bao, dumplings, potstickers, and more to LA doorsteps. Their delivery-only service launches today, August 21 for lunch, dinner or late night eats.

Wow Bao’s steamed, doughy, and saucy buns dominate the menu. Their savory bao are filled with teriyaki chicken, whole wheat edamame, BBQ pork, and spicy Mongolian beef. Sweet choices include coconut custard or chocolate bao.

There’s more than Wow Bao’s namesake, with potstickers, dumplings, along with rice and noodle bowls full of ingredients to satisfy both meat eaters and vegetarians. Those looking to avoid gluten can replace quinoa for noodles.

Wow Bao’s original location opened in 2003 at Chicago’s Water Tower Place. They have nine locations, all east of the Rocky Mountains. Their central kitchen is close to the USC campus, but can be delivered citywide via UberEats, DoorDash, GrubHub, Caviar, Eat24, Postmates, Amazon Prime, or Topingo, anytime from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.
