Cuban Legend Porto’s Bakery Will Pop-Up in Century City for Six Months

Westsider won’t have to make the long trek to Burbank or Glendale

Porto’s Bakery

Westsiders will have Porto’s locally available to them for the first time ever thanks to an extended pop-up at Annenberg Space for Photography in Century City. It’s all tied into the gallery’s latest exhibit Cuba Is, a study of the country featuring over 120 photos comprised of both archival images and the work of on-assignment photographers.

The legendary Cuban eatery will come to life as a café, dubbed Doña Dulce, that will serve classic sweets like chocolate and raspberry besitos and cream cheese rolls. They’ll also offer beverages to wash it down like café cubanos, cortaditos, and café con leche from F. Gaviña & Sons, an LA-based roastery that originated in Cuba in 1870.

Porto’s Doña Dulce pop-up will run from September 9, 2017 to March 8, 2018, and will only be open Wednesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
