A new addition to Los Angeles’ Italian scene comes to West Third under the name N. 10. It comes from restauranteur Emanuele Romani and legendary Italian soccer player Alessandro Del Piero, who wore the number ten on his jersey. There’s no projected opening date, but construction should be complete before the end of the year.
Italian cuisine’s dominance never ceases in Los Angeles, and Angelenos still flock the old and new. Consider the well-established Angelini Osteria, or the Mozza Group’s Pizzeria Mozza, and Osteria Mozza, or the always busy Bestia and Alimento.
Eater receives an exclusive look at N. 10’s design plans. Previously an office space, N. 10 is a complete design rework from Kristofer Keith’s Spacecraft, the team responsible for Tony Yanow’s Stalking Horse. Construction began in January for the 4,099 square feet restaurant, with a four foot elevated front patio facing 3rd St, two large fireplaces, and an open kitchen. N. 10’s food will never be from one specific Italian region, and the menu will rotate throughout the seasons.
N. 10’s West Third roost will sit on a stretch that’s been a centerpiece for LA’s restaurant scene, and less than a mile from the beloved Gusto. West Third has a lengthy list of longstanding restaurants from The Little Door, A.O.C., Son Of A Gun, and Mercado.
