The popular annual Latin Food Fest returns to Santa Monica beach this March, and this year the event is drawing in more than few big names.

This year’s event will feature a slew of talented chefs from across the globe, including the Mexican mega-star chef Enrique Olvera. He’s the man behind NYC’s Cosme, considered one of the world’s 50 best restaurants, as well as Pujol in Mexico City. Olvera has been hanging around Los Angeles quite a lot lately along with Cosme chef de cuisine Daniela Soto-Innes, as the pair hope to open an expanded location here sometime in late 2018.

Other confirmed talent for this year’s Latin Food Fest includes chef Aaron Sanchez, a longtime television personality and restaurateur. He’s joined by Marcela Valladolid, host of Food Network shows like Mexican Made Easy and The Kitchen. Other local names include Josiah Citrin, Ricardo Zarate, and more.

As for the event itself, Latin Food Fest runs the weekend of March 23 and 24. There’s a Friday night open mercado, and a grand tasting with all the chefs the following night. Tickets are sold separately for each, and there are VIP options available.
