Brit Boba is what happens when a British couple merges a traditional English tea shop with the crowd-pleasing tapioca beverage, boba. The quaint store opened in November, offers full tea service, and appears to be Studio City’s first boba store.

First spotted by Ventura Boulevard, husband and wife team Coco Lloyd and Jacob Clifton created a menu with traditional tea service that includes English breakfast, earl rose grey, and jasmine. But they also venture into Thai iced tea, organic iced matcha. Any drink can be paired with a daily choice of classic British cakes and desserts, which might be recipes from acclaimed author and Great British Baking Show host, Mary Berry.

The unconventional tea menu includes English breakfast with blueberry popping boba. The couple also created one with English Breakfast, toffee, apple, milk, and tapioca. The ceremonial grade matcha latte brings in organic matcha with milk and tapioca. And with kombucha, nitro cold brew, and nitro matcha on tap, it’s a bit of drink paradise in the Valley.

Brit Boba is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
