Those living in or around Inglewood, El Segundo, or Century City are lucky enough to have a minimal drive to a Randy’s Donuts. For the rest of the city, grabbing one of their famous donuts requires a bit a trek. This Monday, LA’s 65-year-old donut stand debuts directly on Hollywood Boulevard’s Walk of Fame at Hollywood & Highland.
Randy’s Hollywood & Highland location is impossible to miss with a 18-foot-wide, donut-shaped entrance, and a pop culture mural. The menu remains 99.9 percent the same as the other locations, with the exception of a new Hollywood star donut made just for the occasion.
Randy’s owners announced big expansion plans last August, which includes 12 new locations throughout Southern California. The Hollywood & Highland shop is the first of many new outlets, including a planned drive-thru in Downey with a 26’ foot rooftop donut, and another in Torrance at the corner of Hawthorne and Lomita Boulevard.
Starting Monday, hours at Randy’s Donuts at Hollywood and Highland are Sunday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday from 8 a.m. to midnight.
