Chef, writer, traveler, and TV host Andrew Zimmern made a few recent food stops in LA for his new travel show, The Zimmern List. The debut 30-minute episode showcases Zimmern’s favorite places to eat in Los Angeles, and airs on March 13 at 8 p.m on the Travel Channel.

The Zimmern Lists’s first episode looks at the youthful and innovative chefs in LA, and starts at Kris Yenbamroong’s Night + Market Song, then delves into the toasts at Jennifer Koslow’s Sqirl. Zimmern skews off theme a bit by paying tribute to the pastrami sandwich at Langer’s Deli, but “the delicious creations” at Eggslut in Grand Central Market. He ends the episode at Sara Kramer and Sarah Hymanson’s Kismet. The show’s second episode airs directly after Zimmern’s visit to Austin.

The four-time James Beard Award-winner became famous by eating what most would not, in Bizarre Foods With Andrew Zimmern, which first aired in 2006.
