Partners Jonathan Whitener and Lien Ta are on the move, expanding from their mega-popular Koreatown restaurant Here’s Looking at You into some prime Silver Lake territory right along Sunset Boulevard.

The new project will be called All Day Baby, and takes over on the corner where Samosa House left off several months back. Ta tells Eater that the plan is to work a truly breakfast-through-dinner timeframe with no service breaks in between, offering everything from eggs in the morning to casual lunch meals and hearty dinners, plus cocktails thrown in for good measure. The restaurant is meant to be a kind of classic-meets-modern dinette, with tons of familiar staples on the menu but rethought with that HLAY touch.

At just over 2,000 square feet, the space is only slightly larger than Ta and Whitener’s current Koreatown corner restaurant, but will offer room for takeaway coffee and pastries plus delivery and to-go orders. As for full menu specifics, design details, and timing, that’s all still to come. But, if all goes well, expect All Day Baby to be up and running by sometime in the fall or early winter.
